The project team manager is also called a team manager and is usually assigned by the project manager or assigned by the team members and approved by the project manager. The team manager is responsible for the technical management of the team, for handling very difficult tasks, and for estimating tasks and communicating the estimates with the project manager.

The project manager, on the other hand, is responsible for managing the project as a whole, monitoring the tasks, and communicating with the different stakeholders.
