As a manager, how would you deal with resistance to change when you suspect employee fears of job loss are well founded?

I thnk it depends on what the team believes the timeline and consequences are, but I would focus on the positive "now" rather than the worrisome future.  Do more team building; look for motivational opportunities. Find out what the exact resistence is and see if there isn't a way to overcome it or at least distract the team from the negative future outcomes.
