Here's the criteria to select Agile as a project methodology for your project:

- Project type: The type of the project must be a development project (software/web). Although most Agilists claim that Agile can work in any environment, Agile has not yet proven itself outside the development realm.

- Team member size: The project team size must be less than 8 (some say less than 5) otherwise the Agile is not the right methodology to use.

- Team quality: Team members must be autonomous, highly skilled, with great communication skills, as Agile means that each and every member will share the project management burden.
