Can I use MacBook for project management?

It may be an odd question to ask, but I want to be sure before I purchase a new laptop.

I will be taking construction and project management courses next year, and hopefully get a job in the related field.

Throughout my career, will I need to use a Windows-based laptop, or can I use a MacBook?

With most computers being made these days capable of either running a virtual machine system, dual booting, or able to access software-as-a-service via the Internet, there is absolutely no reason not to use a particular combination as long as you can get to the combination a client or other situation requires.  In the case of a MacBook, the Apple OS supports a version of MS Office, including MS Project and you can dual boot to Windows if you need access to a product not available on the OS.
