PMP vs MPM (Masters In Project Management)

I want to have a formal certification in project management and I'm wondering whether to go for a PMP or MPM (MPM stands for Masters in Project Management).

Which one would you recommend, and why?

Please see http://projectmanagementquestions.com/1754/which-one-is-more-difficult-mba-or-pmp as this question is only slightly different.  Comparing a college degree and a certification is an applies-oranges situation.  If you do get your MPM, I'd recommend getting the PMP as well.  If you get a PMP, an MPM isn't necessarily required, but is more of a testament to your ability to learn and think.
