Is there a certification for legal project managers?

Is there a project management certification specifically aimed at legal project managers? I know about PMP and the likes, but they're not really targeted towards legal project management, they're targeted at generic (traditional) project management.

If it doesn't exist, then maybe a decent project management body (such as the PMI) should think about creating one.

Not that I'm aware of and I'm not sure how valuable such a certification would be. There are, however, a number of organizations working on electronic-discovery certifications. The main two, are the Organization of Legal Professionals and the Association for Certified Electronic Discovery Specialists. Both of these certifications test project management skills related to e-discovery. The OLP in particular has some excellent e-discovery project management on-line courses.

If you come across any certification programs specifically for legal-project management, please post your finding here.

Currently there is non, although I suspect that there will be some very soon, as the legal world is very proactive and dynamic, and the legal project management is currently having a lot of exposure, and proving itself in the legal world.

From what I'm noticing, legal project managers are currently doing the PMP (by PMI) certification in order to assess their skills and increase their worthiness.
