Please list the most significant events in the history of project management that led it to its current status.

Here are the significant events in the history of project management:

- 1896: Creation of the harmonogram, a tool very similar to the Gantt chart. The harmonogram was invented by Karol Adamiecki.
- 1912?: Creation of the Gantt chart by Henry Gantt, an American management consultant and engineer.
- 1956?: Creation of the CPM (Critical Path Method) by the DuPont company.
- 1957: Creation of PERT by the DoD. The WBS concept followed shortly.
- 1969: PMI was established in the USA.
- 1988: EVM is integrated in project management.
