I passed the PMP exam, but I was below proficient on same domain areas. Is it possible for me to re-take the PMP exam to improve my score?

I don't think this is relevant anymore as PMI no longer publishes your score for any of their tests. You either pass or fail the PMP exam, and that's it, and this is what your potential employer will know...

In any case, PMI discusses the issue of "retaking the PMP exam", but only if you have failed the PMP exam before - they don't mention if you can retake the PMP exam again even if you passed. If the latter is also the case, then you must retake the PMP exam in your 1 year eligibility period.
