What will happen if the PMP application is not accepted?

I have applied for the PMP and I barely meet the requirements, and I'm thinking what will happen if my they refused my PMP application?

- Will they refund my money?
- Can I apply again at a later stage?
- Can I contest the refusal?

If your PMP application is not accepted (refused), they will refund you the money minus a processing fee (which is a $100 at the time of answering this question). Yes you can apply at a later stage, but probably they will refuse your application for the second time or audit you.

I think you can always contact PMI directly if you want to contest the refusal. I am not aware of any procedure for contesting audits/application refusal.
