Is there any study in which it is proved that using project management can be seen on the financial statements?

I am writing my bachelor paper on the  importance of project management in successful organizations.
In the last part of my paper I would like to prove that using PM can be seen in the financial statements by increasing revenues or reducing costs.

Could someone send me some material in which two balance sheets and income statements are compared after using PM?

Your help in this matter is highly appreciated!
Thank you!
