The PMI Agile certification is still a pilot, so I'm not sure it's a wise thing to go for it (maybe PMI will cancel it later if it doesn't attract a lot of candidates).
In any case, PMI has published the requirements for their Agile certification, and these requirements are not as steep as those for the PMP. Here they are:
- A high school degree
- 2,000 hours of working on projects
- 21 contact hours - the topic of these contact hours should be about Agile (this is the only situation I know of so far where contact hours have to be about a specific topic, thus contact hours earned towards the PMP or the CAPM are not counted towards the eligibility requirements for the Agile certification).
