What is the difference between goals, scope, and objectives within a large scale project?

How do goals, scope, and objectives differ from each other in large scale projects? Do the three converge in some aspects? Does the scope encapsulate both the goals and the objectives?

There is already a very similar answer here: http://www.projectmanagementquestions.com/3979/what-is-the-difference-between-objective-goal-and-scope

The answer above remains the same regardless of the size of the project. PM terms in large projects are exactly the same as those in small projects (but, on the other hand, you can say that an objective of a large project can be a project in and for itself).
