Is it project estimating or project estimation?

This may be a trivial question, but what is the proper way of saying it, is it "project estimating" or "project estimation"? And are these 2 terms different? Does this have something to do with British English vs. American English? The thing is there are lots of articles out there that reference either the first one or the second one, and this is becoming confusing.

It is project estimation, although I have seen many refer to it wrongly as "project estimating". If you want to use estimating, you have to say "estimating a project". This has nothing to do with American or UK English.

Some also say project estimates.
