What exactly are task relationships in MS project. Are they the same thing as a task dependency (e.g. a task is dependent on another task in order to start?).

Task relationships in MS project are actually task dependencies, for example, task B must wait for task A to finish in order to start, or task C must wait 2 days after task B finishes in order to start.

A concrete example would be painting a house. You paint the first coat, and then you have to wait a certain amount of time to start with the other coat.
