Please describe the three "P's" of Quality Management (Product,Process, and People)

Can someone please explain the 3 Ps when it comes to quality management? Who invented this concept? Was it one of the quality gurus?

Essentially process is about having process audits and statistical controls for quality, product is about monitoring the quality of a product as it is used or consumed, and people is about training people on quality processes.

I'm not sure about the origin, however I've found elements of this associated with the Toyota Development Process and Six Sigma which was originally "evangelized" in the book Execution by Larry Bossidy and Ram Charan.
