What are some examples of critical success factors?

Please provide some examples of critical of success factors in order for me to better understand the term. Since there are critical success factors I assume that there are also non-critical success factors, am I right in my assumption, and if yes, can you also provide some examples of non-critical success factors?

A critical success factor is anything that is necessary for the project to meet its goal.  For example, in project management, meeting the budget and schedule as well as quality and scope of deliverables are standard possible critical success factors.  After these standards, there may be other goals set forth in the project charter which will be important to meet.
